Drill Down

The Pastel Partner drill down option allows users to select items within a report, and drill down to earlier documents.

Customers

Pastel Partner's customers account set-up allows users to create various parameters per customer. For example, you can set individual trading and settlement terms, select the email and / or print option for invoices and statements.

Assistants

Complete tasks easier, and with little hassle with Partner's assistant.

The System Navigator and Explorer

Pastel Partner helps users navigate through the system using either the System Navigator, or Pastel Explorer. Explorer provides users with shortcuts to easily access their lists of customers, inventory, general ledger and suppliers. Users can add, delete, or modify accounts, search customers, suppliers, inventory items, or general ledger accounts.

While the explorer's task options allows users to easily access and modify data, the 'to do list' displays post-dated items, customer and supplier invoices, expiring quotations, sales orders due for delivery and incoming purchase orders.

Invoicing

Save time by entering invoices into a recurring batch, which automatically raises recurring monthly invoices. Partner invoicing allows users to create customer specific price lists; make use of price lists, price matrix, future pricing or special pricing.

Inventory

Pastel Partner allows user to track their inventory in varying detail; create product items, establish minimum and maximum stock levels, or allow Pastel re-order assistant to help you create purchase orders. There is an extensive list of ready to run reports available, some of which include activity summaries, history reports, preferred suppliers and gross profit.

Reporting

Pastel Partner is equipped with a standard report writer, which allows users to generate reports as well as graphic reports to display information in a graphical format. Reports can be exported into Microsoft Word, or Excel, and can be emailed to recipients in PDF, or HTML format.

Audit Trail

Keep track of all the changes made to the set-up with the System audit trail. The system audit keeps track of fundamental changes to the set-up, recording the date and time of the change, as well as the user who initiated the change. The transaction audit trail generates reports, which shows how transactions were captured and processed. The transaction audit also allows a supervisor to extract transactions processed by specific users.

Suppliers

Pastel Partner's remittance printing and automatic cheque function makes paying ones suppliers an uncomplicated task. Users are able to select suppliers (from their suppliers list) and a payment date, and Pastel will display a list of all invoices due for payment. Partner will automatically generates payments and prints the remittance and cheque for each supplier.

Microsoft Office Integration

Pastel Partner's general ledger, customer and supplier information integrates with Microsoft Office, which allows users to export various data into excel, MS word and outlook.

Forms Designer

Pastel Partner's form designer allows users to customize various form layouts, some of which include quotes and invoices.

Multi-Period Processing

Process accounts in both the current financial years as well as in the previous year.

Help File

Pastel partner is equipped with a comprehensive help file, which can assist users at every turn.
